Georgetown Youth "Kick Butts"
On Saturday, March 21st, First State Community Action Agency joined forces with the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club and the American Lung Association for the 11th annual KICK BUTTS DAY event in Georgetown. The event kicked off with a cleanup where more than 50 youth weathered the chilly morning and picked up cigarette butts on the town circle and surrounding blocks. The youth collected more than 10 trash bags filled with cigarette butts.

First State receives donation from Royal Farms...
On Monday, March 16th, First State Community Action Agency received a charitable donation from Royal Farms Inc. during the grand re-opening ribbon cutting of their new Bridgeville store. First State was one of seven organizations presented with a check for $500 to support community program and services provided in Sussex County. Royal Farms the donated funds to these seven local charities in honor of the warm reception they received in Sussex County. Pictured from left to r
