Summer Youth Employment Program Begins
On June 18, First State held an orientation for a group of over 40 Sussex County teens enrolled in the Summer Youth Employment Program. Mr. Jacques Bowe facilitated the orientation to inform teens on what to expect in the workforce and prepare them for the training, skills, and income they will receive this summer. First State's search continues for teen finalists with star talent to represent Sussex County in the next Delaware Teen Idol Competition. Auditions will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 from 2pm - 5pm at First State Community Action Agency (308 N. Railroad Ave) in Georgetown.
