Inside Out Dads Graduation
A Second Chance re-entry program will host a graduation event for participants in its Inside Out Dads course on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. The ceremony will begin at 12:00 pm at First State Community Action Agency (308 N. Railroad Ave.) in Georgetown. All are welcome to take part in the celebration.

Hair & Beyond - A Back to School Community Event
Dover– On Saturday, August 18th, First State's Promoting Safe & Stable Families program held a "Hair & Beyond" back to school community event in Kent County. Jefferson Awards Service Event Supports Local Youth
Buckets of Love Project to Benefit Youth in Sussex County Georgetown– The Jefferson Awards hosted a local community service event promoting this year’s LEAD360 winning project, Buckets of Love, on Wednesday, August 15th at Sussex Technical High School.
Local Volunteers congregated in the cafeteria of the high school where they prepared 125 buckets filled with children's books, toys, activities and inspirational messages to bring joy to underserved (and deserving) children

First State Celebrates Summer Camp Youth
What a GREAT Summer!!!! On August 2, 2018, First State Community Action Agency held a summer camp closing Celebration in Georgetown. Students, parents, staff and school administrators came together to celebrate what youth learned in the program over summer.
