Georgetown-- April 30th was a bitter sweet day of celebration as First State's "Now We're Cooking" Culinary Arts program showcased the cooking talents of Milford High School students at the Central Sussex Training Center in Georgetown.
Administrators got a chance to experience first-hand the culinary creations and workmanship of eight Milford students. A hearty bowl of Jambalaya was the perfect meal to kick off the celebration. As if chocolate chip blondies and homemade cranberry oatmeal cookies weren't enough to make the heart smile, the students added more sweetness as they showered their Instructor, Chef Gary Papp, with hugs, appreciation, and handmade thank you cards for his caring support.
