“A Kick Start to Tobacco-Free Living”
The community is invited to participate in the annual KICK BUTTS DAY on SATURDAY, MARCH 18, 2017. The event will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with a cigarette butt cleanup at the Georgetown Circle followed by activities, prevention workshops, and health fair at the First State Community Action Agency from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Youth will enjoy a day filled with fun activities and education, receive valuable information about tobacco-use, and have the opportunity to present their own anti-tobacco messages to their parents and peers. The event is free and open to all youth to participate. Lunch will be provided. This event is presented by First State Community Action Agency and the Georgetown Boys & Girls Club in partnership with the American Lung Association. This Kick Butts Day event is made possible through the Delaware Division of Public Health’s Tobacco Prevention Community Contract. Funding for the contract is provided by the Delaware Health fund and managed by the American Lung Association of Delaware.
