The Delaware Fatherhood and Family Coalition (DFFC) is an extension of the Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program’s responsible Fatherhood Initiative. The Delaware Fatherhood and Family Coalition is an Advocacy Coalition with a diverse and unified membership. The Delaware Fatherhood and Family Coalition is made up of fathers, mothers, families, community leaders, Faith–based, community and grass root organizations and State representation. As a united change agent, the DFFC is committed to building a community coalition that champions father involvement, which in turn provides positive outcomes for Delaware children and their respective communities. The DFFC’s purpose is to give a voice to fathers and families to convey the importance of not only father involvement, but family involvement in the care, welfare, safety and development of their children.
The DFFC supports the involvement of residential and non-residential fathers in the lives of their children, reduces the stressors of single parents, builds upon healthy adult relationships, and decreases the barriers that may challenge these efforts.
Registration for the 2017 Delaware Devoted Dads Summit is free to all.
