On April 26th, First State received a few extra helping hands from WSFS Bank.
Five WSFS team members and one child came to Georgetown to help beautify the grounds of First State as part of their “Take Your Children to the Community Day.”
The crew spent a portion of the morning laying mulch, removing weeds, and landscaping around the office. "The excitement and energy of the team was great and everyone seemed to really enjoy the work despite getting their hands dirty," said Kyle White, First State's maintenance and facilities manager.
"Our slogan 'We Stand for Service' is one that we take very seriously," said Senior Vice President, Director of Community Strategy, Vernita Dorsey, "and this day of service is one of the best times of the year for us, in addition to all the other events and projects that we love doing out and about in the Communities we serve."
First State Community Action Agency cannot thank WSFS Bank enough for their hand work, positive spirit, and invaluable service to First State!
