Prospect AME Church & IRSD HOSA Partner to Nourish Delaware Families

A heartfelt thank you to Prospect AME Church of Georgetown and Pastor Janet Maull-Martin for their incredible partnership—and to the amazing students of Indian River School District HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), guided by advisors Meadow Rassa and Shelly Johnson, for organizing a thoughtful and generous food drive for our pantry.

Food pantries are more important now than ever.

Families across Delaware continue to face rising costs, unexpected hardships, and difficult choices—often between groceries, medicine, or keeping the lights on. Community-led food drives like this one help ensure children have meals, seniors are supported, and families experiencing crisis can access immediate nourishment and relief.

We are deeply grateful for partnerships that bring compassion, leadership, and hope to the forefront.

Thank you to everyone involved for helping nourish our community and for modeling the true spirit of service and collective care.
